Who
would have thought that when I was recording this collection, that it
would lead to an invitation to appear at a "WASHINGTON FOR
JESUS" rally. And even more amazing is, who would of thought that
when I got to Washington D.C., that nobody seemed to know who I was, and
therefore, wasn't asked to perform. Well, I did get to meet Jerry
Falwell though. Anywhoo, on more of a production note, I recorded this
collection at my home studio, using a 286 computer, a tascam 4-track
"PortaStudio", and a DOS based MIDI sequencing software called
"Cadnenza". I used 3 tracks for vocals, and 1 track to sync to
the computer (good old SMPTE). I did all the music in MIDI, with a
Roland Sound Canvas as the sound source (and an Alesis Drum machine to
punch up the drums). Everything MIDI was done on a keyboard, even the
drums and guitars.
